πŸͺΆ Seven Drums Remember His Name What Chief Joseph Still Teaches Us About Zion

Image
πŸͺΆ Seven Drums Remember His Name What Chief Joseph Still Teaches Us About Zion Listen to the NEW Song of Zion:    Seven Drums There are men whose victories are measured by the battles they win. Then there are men whose greatness is measured by the battles they refuse to fight. Chief Joseph belongs to the second kind. History often remembers him for one sentence: "From where the sun now stands, I will fight no more forever." Many have mistaken those words for surrender. I have come to believe they were something far greater. They were the words of a man whose love for his people had become stronger than his desire to win. A Different Kind of Warrior The scriptures are filled with warriors. Joshua. David. Captain Moroni. Yet some of Heaven's greatest victories came without a sword. The Savior conquered death by allowing Himself to be crucified. Abinadi conquered wickedness by speaking truth while flames surrounded him. The sons of Mosiah changed nations through love instea...

πŸͺΆ The Map Was Restored… But Did We Ever Walk It?

πŸͺΆ The Map Was Restored… But Did We Ever Walk It? Hello friends. Just sitting here again… Thinking about something that’s been unfolding for me over the last little while. Not in a loud way. Not in a “let me prove something” way. Just… quietly. πŸŽ₯ The Original Teaching (Hugh Nibley) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCHjtbzma3Y&list=PLOrN0FV73AsIeKPG48pi390UWWdOVyIgi&index=3 πŸŽ₯ The Original Teaching (Hugh Nibley) I came across this talk by Hugh Nibley… And something about it stuck with me. Not everything at once. Not in a “this answers everything” kind of way. But it planted a question. A quiet one. What if something really was lost… but not just in the way we usually think? 🌿 Something Was Lost… But Maybe Not How We Think As I listened to that… I could see what Nibley was pointing to. That over time: truth became symbolic reality became abstract and people began debating instead of knowing And honestly… That lines up exactly with what the Book of Mormon warned about: “Man...

πŸͺΆ Seeking God Directly — A Scriptural Pattern (With Citations)

Image
πŸͺΆ Seeking God Directly — A Scriptural Pattern (With Citations) Across all records, a consistent doctrine appears: God reveals truth directly to those who seek Him. This is not symbolic language. It is a   repeatable pattern . 🧭 Foundational Instruction πŸ“– Bible In   Epistle of James   1:5: “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” This instruction is: individual direct unconditional There is no intermediary required. πŸ“– Book of Mormon — Direct Revelation Pattern Nephi Receives His Own Witness First Book of Nephi   2:16: “And I, Nephi… did cry unto the Lord; and behold he did visit me, and did soften my heart…” Nephi did not rely on Lehi’s experience. πŸ‘‰ He sought and received his own. First Book of Nephi   10:17: “And I… was desirous also that I might see, and hear, and know of these things… by the power of the Holy Ghost…” First Book of Nephi   11:1: “For it ca...

πŸͺΆ HOW DO WE TRULY HONOR THE PIONEERS? A July 24th Reflection

Image
πŸͺΆ HOW DO WE TRULY HONOR THE PIONEERS? A July 24th Reflection πŸŒ… A Day That Means Something July 24th… means something to a lot of people. It’s not just a date. It’s: sacrifice faith families crossing plains people giving everything they had Men, women, and children… walking into the unknown believing God was leading them. That kind of faith… πŸ‘‰ deserves to be honored. And I honor it. πŸͺΆ THEY GAVE EVERYTHING THEY HAD Whatever else can be said about history… this part is true: πŸ‘‰   The pioneers gave everything. Their homes Their comfort Their safety Sometimes even their lives They didn’t do it halfway. They believed they were following God. And that matters. 🧭 BUT HERE’S A QUESTION I HAD TO ASK As I’ve gotten older… and as I’ve walked more personally with Christ… a question has come to me. Not a harsh one. A real one. πŸ‘‰   How do we truly honor them? Is it: just remembering them? just celebrating the journey? just repeating what they did? Or is it something more? πŸ“– WHA...

πŸͺΆ A LOOK BACK IN LOVE What Happened… and What I’ve Learned Walking With Christ

Image
πŸͺΆ   A LOOK BACK IN LOVE What Happened… and What I’ve Learned Walking With Christ πŸŒ… I Need to Say This First Before I say anything else… I need to say this clearly. I love the Church. I love the people in it. I love what I was given growing up. I love the foundation it gave me in Jesus Christ. This is not an attack. This is not me trying to tear anything down. This is just… πŸ‘‰   me being honest about my walk with Christ. And where that walk has taken me. 🧭 PART 1 — WHAT WAS RESTORED When I look at the beginning… I see something beautiful. Joseph Smith wasn’t perfect. He said that himself. But something real happened through him. The Book of Mormon came forth. And whatever anyone says about it… πŸ‘‰ it points people to Christ. Over and over again. “Come unto Christ, and be perfected in him…” (Moroni 10:32) “This is the way; and there is none other way nor name given under heaven whereby man can be saved…” (2 Nephi 31:21) That message is simple. Not complicated. Not insti...

πŸ•Š️ Restored Gospel vs. Post-Joseph LDS Theology

Image
πŸ•Š️ Restored Gospel vs. Post-Joseph LDS Theology (Expanded, Scripture-Anchored Study) There was a time I didn’t question any of this. I believed the Restoration was complete. That everything lined up the way it was supposed to. But over time… Through scripture—especially the   Book of Mormon … And through records like the   Nemenhah Records … I started noticing something. Not loudly. Not critically. Just quietly. πŸ‘‰   Some things don’t match anymore. So I wrote this out… simple… so anyone can check it. πŸ”₯ 1. Baptism of the Holy Ghost Restored Gospel (Scriptural Pattern): A distinct, experiential   baptism of fire —not symbolic. πŸ“– 2 Nephi 31:13 “Then cometh a remission of your sins by fire and by the Holy Ghost.” πŸ“– 3 Nephi 9:20 “Ye shall offer for a sacrifice unto me a broken heart and a contrite spirit…” πŸ‘‰ This describes a   transforming event , not just a conferral. Nemenhah Insight: The Haymehnay   seals truth into the soul —it is felt, lived, and conf...
