🪶 The Pipe Prayer Song — Learning to Walk the Way
Many of you may not know who Cloudpiler is.
He is one of the original translators of the Ayahtkuhyaht Nemenhah—often called the Nemenhah Records—a work translated by a small group around 2004–2005 that I’ve studied for years.
Whatever someone thinks of the record itself…
there are moments in it that carry real beauty.
This was one of those for me.
Cloudpiler recently shared something called The Pipe Prayer Song of Mohrhohnayah—an ancient prayer pattern from the record tied to covenant, prayer, gratitude, and walking what they call the Way.
And as I sat with it…
I didn’t hear ritual.
I heard remembrance.
I heard the soul gathering itself before God.
And honestly—
that may be something we’ve forgotten.
🌿 Teach Your Children to Seek Heaven
One line stopped me:
“What mother shall not desire for her child the visions of eternity?”
What a question.
Isn’t that what we really want?
Not merely children who behave.
Not merely children who inherit religion.
But children who know God.
Children who hear Him.
Children who learn His voice.
Children who walk with angels.
That touched me.
Because that is the heart of the gospel.
Not borrowed light.
Personal revelation.
Not living forever on someone else’s testimony.
But learning to seek the Lord ourselves.
That’s a beautiful thought.
And a needed one.
🔥 This Prayer Is More Than Directions
Some might only see:
West
North
East
South
Directions.
Symbols.
Ceremony.
But I saw a pattern.
A movement back to center.
Beginning with Heavenly Father.
Then Heavenly Mother.
Then creation.
Then heavenly beings.
Then ancestors.
Then repentance.
Then covenant.
Then sacred breath.
Then peace enough to walk upon the Way.
That is not random.
That feels like return.
A gathering home.
And I love that.
Because everything sacred begins in the center.
🕊️ Come Back to the Center
What does this prayer really say?
Come back.
Remember where you came from.
Remember who walks with you.
Remember your covenants.
Remember to breathe.
Remember peace.
Then walk.
Simple.
Holy.
Alive.
That feels like Jesus to me.
Because Christ was always bringing people back to the living center.
The heart.
Stillness.
Communion.
Love.
🌄 “Peace Enough to Walk the Way”
This line stayed with me:
“I find peace enough to go upon the Way.”
Peace enough.
Not perfect enough.
Not worthy enough.
Not enlightened enough.
Peace enough.
Friend…
that will preach.
Sometimes we think we need everything figured out before we can walk with God.
No.
Just enough peace for the next step.
That’s usually how He works.
Quietly.
One step at a time.
🌿 Thanksgiving Opens the Way
Then this:
“In thanksgiving only, am I able to be still and know the Peacemaker.”
That is profound.
Stillness through gratitude.
Not striving.
Not forcing revelation.
Thanksgiving.
And suddenly the waters settle.
And the Lord speaks on still waters.
That may be one of the oldest secrets of prayer.
🪶 What I Hear in This Teaching
I hear:
Teach your children revelation.
Seek Heaven directly.
Honor the directions—
but seek the Center.
Remember covenant.
Breathe.
Give thanks.
Walk the Way.
That’s beautiful.
And strangely familiar.
Because truth often feels remembered before it feels learned.
🔥 Seek. Receive. Remember. Walk.
There was a phrase in the newsletter commentary that caught me:
Seek.
Receive.
Remember.
Walk.
That may be the whole journey.
Seek.
Receive.
Remember.
Walk.
That sounds like discipleship.
That sounds like the Way.
🕊️ Final Thought
I don’t read this as exotic spirituality.
I read it as another witness that God has always taught His children through patterns that lead inward and upward—
toward peace,
toward covenant,
toward Christ.
And if a prayer helps a soul become still enough to know the Peacemaker…
I pay attention.
Because that is the whole point.
To know Him.
To hear Him.
To walk with Him.
And maybe teach our children to do the same.
That may be the holiest inheritance we can give.
